Columbia, SC – January 16, 2008 - City Center Partnership is pleased to announce that Amy Stone has been selected as the first retail recruiter for downtown Columbia.
“Amy brings a wealth of experience in sales from recruiting contributors for non-profit organizations to soliciting donations from alumni, which is complimentary to what we’ll be doing for retail in Columbia,” said Midge McCauley of ERA in Washington, D.C., who is currently creating a comprehensive retail plan for the area. “Amy was selected from a group of qualified people. Ultimately her background, energetic personality, charm, and business relationships in Columbia and around the state stood out over the competition,” said McCauley.
“My vision for downtown Columbia is to become an even more exciting and vibrant destination that people want to come and visit,” said Amy. “I want downtown Columbia to be a place people shop to find something unique they can’t find anywhere else.”
